TERM 2 JUNIOR CLUB END OF TERM REFLECTIONS

We’ve officially wrapped up Term 2, and wow, what a term it’s been! From the first ball served to the final point played, we’ve been blown away by the energy, commitment, and love for the game our Junior Club players have brought every single week.
With 161 players signed up across all age groups, this term has been one of our biggest yet, and it’s been so special to see our players grow—not just in their volleyball skills, but in confidence, teamwork, and resilience too. Whether it was our U12s getting the hang of their first pass, or our U18s smashing it at national tournaments, everyone brought something unique to the court. And we’re so proud of each and every one of them!
A WORD FROM OUR EHAD COACH, ELLA WATSON
"Term 2 has been such a fun and successful chapter! We’ve seen massive growth from every age group and capped things off with some awesome tournament performances. The U16 Girls competed in the Silver Cup and did brilliantly, while the U18 Boys brought home bronze in the Gold Cup, a huge achievement and a testament to all their hard work."
TOURNAMENT HIGHLIGHTS
Throughout the term, our teams took part in 12 tournaments, including key tournaments like the Gold and Silver Cups. These competitions gave our players the chance to push themselves, grow in confidence, and represent Deep Dish with pride and passion.
We’re especially proud of our U18 Boys, who brought home the bronze medal in the Gold Cup, ending the term on an incredible high. Watching their teamwork and determination come together on the court was a major moment for the entire club!
LOOKING AHEAD: TERM 3 BEACH SEASON
We’re already gearing up for Term 3, kicking off April 22nd, and this one’s a special one, it’s officially beach season! We can’t wait to welcome even more juniors to the sand and keep building on the energy of Term 2. We’ll be welcoming even more juniors to the sand and building on everything we’ve learned this term.
Expect more tournaments, more sunshine, more laughs, and loads more opportunities to grow as a player and teammate.
The end of a term is always a moment to pause and celebrate, and Term 2 has given us so much to be proud of. From the youngest players learning their first passes to the U18s stepping up on the national stage, this season has been filled with hard work, growth, and some unforgettable volleyball moments.
Thank you to all our players, parents, and coaches for making Term 2 so special. We can’t wait to do it all again (but with more sand between our toes ;)
