TIER 1 U16 GIRLS
The history makers! We are so proud of this Girls team, they are our first ever ladies team and they played so well last round after being put in the deep end. They now find themselves in the Bronze pool in Tier 1, they will face Dulwich, Worthing Cheetahs, and Westminster and look to build on all the training this year as they start to find their feet at this level of competition. It's so encouraging to see that we had 15 girls compete for us in the last round and 11 for this round of competition. It's hugely exciting to see what this girls team can do.

“It's so exciting to have this group of girls competing for Deep Dish. We have a really strong group who will only benefit from this exposure to competition. The majority of these young ladies have one or two years more to compete at U16’s meaning we have a really exciting future ahead for this group. We are so proud that they are representing us in competitions. Looking forward to the Bronze cup and creating more history with this group.” - Coach Ella
TIER 1 U16 BOYS
The U16 Tier 1 Boys team travel to Boswells school in Essex, in a pool that consists of Richmond, London Lynx and the hosts Boswell’s. After Deep Dish won their Grand Prix preliminary pool they now find themselves in the gold pool with some of the best junior clubs in the country. Whoever wins this pool will be guaranteeing their place into the last 8s a round early and a chance to make the national final.

“The young men have been working really hard and this pool promises some great competition. It’ll be a great way to see how we measure up against some of the stronger junior clubs. But I enjoy that no one really knows who we are and what to expect. I’m sure the boys will do great things on the weekend.” - Coach Mark Garcia-Kidd
TIER 2 U16 BOYS
The U16 Tier 2 boys travel to Spelthorne and look to go one better this round, after narrowly missing out on gold last round this group of young athletes will be looking to win. They find themselves in a group with Spelthorne, ONYX, and Marshalls Park Academy. The Tier 2 competition has been brilliant for the young men as they develop and we're extremely excited to see how they get on and continue to develop!

“Tier 2 has been great for the young men, the team is majority U15’s, and its great to see them competing so well in the age group above them. It also offers great development opportunities for some of our U16 players looking for game time. I’m hopeful that we can promote some of these players into the Tier 1 side. I can’t wait to see how they get on this weekend as they are a great group to watch and represent the club so well” - Coach Mark Garcia-Kidd
