Occupation? Project manager
How long have you been playing beach? On and off for three years
Who is your biggest rival from another club? Anyone that’s ever beaten me 👀
What are you doing to prepare for the club champs? Creating a mini beach court in my flat with all the sand I bring home from training sessions
Thoughts on representing Deep Dish? Excited to represent a great club like Deep Dish and hoping to play some good volleyball
If you could say one thing to the competition, what would it be? fear the pokey ☝🏼

Occupation? Lab Manager
How long have you been playing beach? Just in the summer for almost 3 years now
Who is your biggest rival from another club? Everyone. It’s me and Anu against the world.
What are you doing to prepare for the club champs? Eating as much sand as possible to bulk up.
Thoughts on representing Deep Dish? Just happy to be here 🙂.
If you could say one thing to the competition, what would it be? Don’t cry. You’ll be okay. :)
BARBARA ZORZI
Occupation? Structural Engineer
How long have you been playing beach? In 2019 I had no idea what beach volleyball was. In 2020 I learned it's not just like playing volleyball on sand. In 2021 I played my first season of mostly 2* events...
Who is your biggest rival from another club? Everyone! Joking... only those who are taller than me (basically everyone)
What are you doing to prepare for the club champs? Trying not to get injured
Thoughts on representing Deep Dish? I'm very happy to represent my local club. Hey, now people will know there is a beach volleyball club in St Albans!!
If you could say one thing to the competition, what would it be? Enjoy the game cos you have only one life. Don't aim for my face tho, cos I also have only one life.

How long have you been playing beach? Couple of years
Who is your biggest rival from another club? Barbara Zorzi - keep your friends close and your enemies closer
What are you doing to prepare for the club champs? Keep repeating to myself "Remember-to-bring-black-shorts-Remember-to-bring-black-shorts-Remember-to-bring-black-shorts"
Thoughts on representing Deep Dish? What's Deep Dish? I am representing the proud citizens of the famous St Albans
If you could say one thing to the competition, what would it be? Do you guys sell Aperol? or do i need to bring my own?
We're so excited for the UKBT Club Champs this weekend and can't wait to bring the trophy home!
