LOCATION

Boscombe Pier is located in Boscombe, a coastal suburb of Bournemouth on the south coast of England, in the county of Dorset. It stretches out into the English Channel and is part of the scenic Bournemouth beachfront.

PARKING

For drivers, there are several nearby car parks, including pay & display ones along the seafront and in Boscombe town centre. Free parking can be found on nearby streets.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Boscombe Pier is easily accessible by various modes of transport. It’s well-connected by local bus services that run regularly from Bournemouth town centre and nearby areas, with stops just a short walk from the seafront. Bournemouth Railway Station, around 1.5 miles away, offers national rail connections and is a quick bus or taxi ride from the pier.

PARKING

Pay & display parking is available directly at the beach car park. There are also metered parking spaces along nearby roads such as Banks Road, Shore Road, and Western Road.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Sandbanks Beach in Poole, Dorset, is well-served by public transport, making it accessible year-round. The Harbour Breezer 60 bus route operates between Rockley Park and Sandbanks. For those traveling from Bournemouth, the Purbeck Breezer 50 route connects Bournemouth to Swanage via Sandbanks, providing a direct link to the beach.
